Benefits of Reciting Mahalakshmi Ashtakam

Maa Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, prosperity and splendour. All the devotees worship Maa Lakshmi to bring happiness and happiness in their lives. While worshipping her, one must recite Mahalakshmi Ashtakam. This is a divine and miraculous hymn. By reciting this, Maa Lakshmi soon blesses her devotees.

Mahalakshmi Ashtakam is a hymn for worshipping Goddess Sri Mahalaxmi Devi, who is one of the eight avatars of Goddess Lakshmi. Sri Mahalaxmi Ashtakam is found in the Padma Purana and it was chanted by Lord Indra in praise of Goddess Lakshmi.


If you want peace, prosperity and good fortune in your life then you recite it with full devotion. To get the grace of goddess Mahalaxmi and be blessed with healthy, wealthy life and other benefits you should absolutely recite Mahalakshmi Ashtakam.

Every person should worship Mahalakshmi, the goddess of wealth. By the grace of Mahalakshmi, one gets wealth and good fortune. Goddess Lakshmi is duly worshipped and worshipped on Diwali. Worshipping Lakshmi on Diwali keeps the house full of money and grains throughout the year. Therefore, to worship Goddess Lakshmi, her Mahamantra must be chanted.



Sri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam was first read by Dev Raj Indra. Shri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam is the most beloved stotra of Goddess Lakshmi. It has eight verses in Shree Mahalakshmi Ashtakam and hence it is called Ashtakam. One gets success by regularly reciting Mahalakshmi Ashtakam. He does not have to struggle with money in any field in his life.

The person who recites Shri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam twice a day. There is wealth and prosperity in his life. Reciting this thrice a day destroys the enemies of the person. Mahalakshmi Ashtakam should always be recited with full devotion.
